These pants are great - GoreTex keeps you dry, fleece lining around the waist for comfort, wide legs for large boots with internal elastic gaters to keep out snow and rain. They run a little small, though. I am almost always a size 12 in pants or 31 in designer jeans and these fit pretty snug. Not unbearable, but with a fleecey layer underneath they do feel tight.

If I didn't love this coat so much I'd probably only give it a 4 star since it runs so big in size ( i.e. I've always been a Large but had to return this one for a Medium so that wasn't the best experience but at least STP made the return easy and relatively inexpensive on me I guess)....but I still five it 5 stars. For me, a regular Montana ski area skier, this coat is perfect - slightly insulated so I can wear the necessary layers underneath or without on our "warmer" days, zip pits (I could never not have them) , lots of pockets inside and out, good style (plus I haven't see anyone else wearing it at my ski hill which is a plus), a hood that allows my extra large helmet, an internal powder skirt option and a waist cinch to keep the heat in.
