I don't ski, and wouldn't have ordered this highly technical jacket at full price. On sale, plus a 20% off coupon from a previous order, it was an excellent buy. It's very wind and rain-proof, insulated but not at all bulky, high quality materials and construction, zipper works great. Worn over a base layer and a soft-shell, heavy fleece or sweater, it is quite warm enough for nasty winter conditions here in PA., especially if you're active. I am a size 8-10, 5' 7", got the medium. It comes down a little past my hips. Plenty roomy on top. The bottom fits closer around the hips than most jackets (I guess to keep out snow). Fine with me because I am slim there. The black color was available in my size, so I got it. It has little red and white accents inside - would've been nice to see them outside, but you can't have everything.

Item looks ok but it has no cargo pocket and no tunnel belt as described. If that is not important than its acceptable.

The only complaint that I have is that the pit zips are not fully waterproof and you end up with damp arm pits at the end of the day.
