I've only used this bag a couple of nights in the hills close to town. Very well made. By all indications it appears to be just what I was looking for. I needed a very light, compact, yet warm bag for back country elk hunting. Often I spike out a few miles from camp if I have located an animal. A light, compact bag is necessary. I've been looking at a different Marmot bag but the price on this one was unbeatable.

This is an excellent bag at a great price. I have used this bag for camping with Boy Scouts and it has served me well. I bought a long for extra room in the shoulders. Down bags are much more comfortable than synthetic bags because they breath better, in my opinion. it packs down really small and is light weight. I have never had a problem with a down bag getting wet or any sleeping bag getting wet for that matter, but then we always sleep in tents in Scouts. I bought another bag for my son.

I live in Seattle and spend a lot of time out in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. I took this bag out this weekend, it got down to probably 25F and I was sweating in my underwear and a tee shirt. I am 5' 11" 185lbs and got the long (because it is the only one on sale) and it is definitely not too big. I actually like the extra length because it makes it easier to cinch up the bag.
