Closeouts. So lofty, you might just wonder if it's down, Marmot’s 20°F Sorcerer sleeping bag from the Trestles series overlaps waves of cozy Spirafil insulation to eliminate cold spots and keep you warm. And unlike down, the quality synthetic fill dries quickly when it does get wet.
Good Quality, Great Value, Light Weight, Little pocket, Roomy, Warm
Cons:
Can't think of any
Best Uses:
Tent Camping, Three season
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Really am impressed with the quality. It's a great value and has everything I was looking for in a warm, comforable and light sleeping bag. It even has a little zipper pocket in the upper front for lip balm, little light etc. I was a little worried about a mummy bag, but it still has plenty of room so it does not feel too constricting.

Sweet bag and a great buy. Good to 15 degrees F, below 0 if you keep some cold weather layers on, and I can compress it down to about 8" X 10" with a compression sack. Nice.

I got this bag to go camping at a national forest campground. It got down to about 40 degrees, and I was fine with the zipper mostly open. I'm sure it would have made it down to 15 degrees without an issue. In general it is high quality (although the lower zipper pull is cheaper than the upper one). It includes a stuff sack, and stuffs relatively small. I wouldn't have a problem backpacking with it.
The shape of the hood is kind of weird. It seems to be too big and comes over your eyes too easily. I also have a North Face bag, and that one has a much better hood.

Pros:
Warm
Cons:
bulky, Heavy
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping, River Trip
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Bought this for backpacking but will probably spend the $$ for a lighter, more compressible bag. There's nothing wrong with it; it just takes up about half the space in the main compartment of my pack, even with a compression sack (buy a Med., NOT a Small for this bag). Would be terrific on a river trip or for car camping, or a short pack trip if you don't have too much else to carry.

We bought this sleeping bag for our son so that we can all go back packing. He has used it a couple of times and he has been warm. It is a great price and a fine bag to take hiking. It is a great starter bag, but if he continues hiking he may want to get a more compact one. It is big enough that he will be able to use it probably into adulthood. We recommended it to my father-in-law and he ordered one also!

[...] This bag is essentially a Trestles bag (retail [$]). Bought both the long and regular model and both are high quality. Includes a zippered pocket on top for small items. I am very happy with my purchase.
