Marmot 15°F Trestles Sleeping Bag - Synthetic, Long Mummy

This is a great value, I do a lot of backpacking, I'll be taking this bag to Philmont.

Well constructed bag with lots of features - inside pocket, partial zip on one side to regulate temperature and comfort, excellent loft, etc. A little heavy for backpacking, but acceptable for the occasional hiker. Excellent price at Sierra.

Great bag for the money. Easy to pack. Best for car camping with friends!

I'm 6'4 and 230 and this is a mummy bag that I can finally get into. There is not tons of extra shoulder room but even with my broad shoulders it's not uncomfortable like other bags have been for me.

Lots of nice features for the price, glow in dark zip/handle, interior zipped pocket, quality materials, heavy stitching. I'm 5'11" and ordered the long because I like the extra roominess. The half zip on the right side is nice for siting up reading and warmer temps. Car camped in Colorado foothills with night temps 25-30F and was very comfortable with silk long-johns on. I was a minimalist when younger and this is my first synthetic bag as kind of an experiment, I'm pleased with the results. You might notice the weight of this bag going up miles of switchbacks, but otherwise a reasonable weight and suitable for shorter hikes. You can spend a lot more money than the Marmot Trestle, but you're not going to get much more than a high-end label and renamed polyester fill.
