Good bag at a great price, seems especially good for early and late camping, especially in our BWCA where we spend most of our time. Seems well made with a good sturdy outer layer.

    Pros:
    Roomy, Warm, Well Designed
    Cons:
    A little Heavy
    Best Uses:
    Backkpacking
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Most bags have badly overinflated temperature ratings. This one was much better than most. I slept in it at 19 degrees, without a tent fly on, and was reasonably warm. Most 15 degree bags would have been cold. Also, I usually can't fit comfortably into a regular length bag (for 6 footers) even though I'm 5'10". This one was fine. The hood was well designed too.

bought this for son, he had his first winter camp being a boy scout just this past weekend March 23-25, 2012. Read many reviews on different bags. Like that this bag had a set of zippers on each side easy in and out. Seems light, son said he had no problems with it, he was warm.
