It is recommended that sleeping bags, especially down, be stored hanging and not in their bags. I assume that this model of sleeping bag produced by Marmot is discontinued. How are they stored prior to shipping? Could this bag have been in its stuff sack for weeks, months or years?

  • Answer All Marmot down bags are stored in a light weight cotton sack. The sack promotes movement and airflow. Only synthetic sleeping bags are stored in their stuff sacks.

  • Answer If you call Marmot customer service they will tell you that 20 degrees Flathead and 5 degrees Snowcrest are current models made for STP, that is why they are not found on Marmot website.
