I recently took the bag on a 4 day canoing trip to northern Arkansas where the temperatures ranged from 38-50 at night. This bag kept me very warm on the coldest night in just shorts and a long sleeve shirt. Bag can also be zipped nearly all the way down to regulate temperature on warmer nights. The material appears to be very durable while still being extremely soft and comfortable. In fact, it's more comfortable than my sheets at home :) At this temperature rating, it's obviously not an ultra light weight bag, but it is still very light compared to synthetic bags. Great weight to warmth ratio for my general camping purposes. The bag becomes very compact when packed in the provided stuff sack which allowed plenty of room in my dry bag for other items. Excellent bag at a greay price. Never pay retail again!

Exactly as described in the video, packs very small and is very lightweight. It comes with its own stuff bag so that's good. It also comes in a marmot net bag that is quite big so it can also be used for other reasons as well. It is roomie and as long as described. Very nice and cozy!

I bought the Marmot 20º Flathead Down bag to allow me to cycle tour in cooler temps. My current synthetic bag just isn't warm enough sometimes. I have not yet had the opportunity to test the bag's warmth and comfort by actually camping with it, but it is well-made, is roomy enough that I can turn over without difficulty (I am 5'7" and 118 pounds). I love that the foot area is especially spacious, since that keeps the mummy style from feeling too claustrophobic. It packs down small, and is slightly lighter than the bag I've been toting on my tours, too. I looked around, and STP definitely had the best price on what seems to be a decent down sleeping bag. Looking forward to trying it out, but the weather's just been too nice lately!

I used two other top brand bags at the same temp rating. This Marmot bags is by far the warmest. Have not got cold yet in my bag. It is a little tight though.still comfortable though, but tighter than the other two.

I purchased this bag for my husband. We stayed for 5 days in Capitol Reef, with night time temperatures dropping to about 22 degrees (F). He was plenty warm!

Just bought this bag and went backpacking with it last weekend. The ground was saturated with snowmelt / moisture from previous snow fall. I was on an insulated lightweight air mattress-2.5". One of my companions read 99% humidity and the low was 38 degrees. I am a VERY cold sleeper. Wore my down jacket (Marmot Zeus), polyester workout pants, wool socks and a lightweight synthetic cap to bed. Was toasty all night. I am 5'11" and 220 pounds. Bag fits perfect, even for a stocky guy like me. It compresses pretty small. In fact , it fit sideways into my 33 liter Osprey pack. That's a really small pack for backpacking. Total base weight for all of my gear was under 15 pounds. You can't beat this bag for the money. Total was $155 including shipping and tax, and got a $20 edeals card for $20 , so net cost was $135. Marmot makes some of the best down gear on the market. Very good quality. If you are not familiar with sleeping bag ratings, the stated temp rating on ANY bag, is the "SURVIVAL" rating. Meaning it will keep you ALIVE at 20 degrees, but you probably won't be sleeping. Shivering your **s off is more like it. Always add 15 degrees to the bags temp rating. Also what you wear to sleep is vital. Synthetic shirt, synthetic long johns, good socks and a synthetic cap. Also the pad needs to insulate you from the ground. Since I knew the temps might get close to the limit for this bag, I wore my down jacket as well. If you are going to be in temps in the low 30's or below, you will need a 15 degree bag. The Marmot Pinnacle would be my choice for that. But it lists for almost $400. I'm in So Cal, so local front range use with this bag will work for 90% of my excursions. Marmot rocks, and even my ultra light backpacking friends were impressed with my small pack size and the killer deal on this bag.

I ordered two of these bags, one for myself and one for my husband. We got them for the occasional camping trip, but mostly as a bug-out bag. I found that as a side sleeper who tosses and turns, the mummy style is way too restrictive for me personally. Also, if you are on the fat/heavy side, you will find this bag too narrow. The bag is nice and light and very warm, and is well made. The price

My son and I are going to Philmont this summer and we needed to replace our heavy synthetic bags with something lighter and more compact. This bag fits the bill. I bought one for myself. My son, who generally finds mummy bags too constricting, tried it and liked it. Ample room for his big feet. So I got him one too. Nice price.

Recreational backpacker. Not the lightest and not the smallest, but also, not the most expensive. Good value for the price.
