I used it on a backpacking trip and on a car camping trip. It's comfortable and warm. Easy to stuff into its stuffsack, but the "latch" on the stuff sack cord doesn't seem to hold very well, tends to come loose. the zipper does get caught, so you just need to get the hang of how best to use it. ... Just went on a 5 day backpacking trip to the River Gorge area in Wyoming. An ice storm picked up and the only reason I stayed warm was this bag. It worked out great.

I picked this bag up for $65 to my front door using a Sierra coupon code. I've since used it three times. Each night was in the 40s. I stayed warm and comfortable. I never woke up due to the cold, which never happens when you're camping. I highly recommend this bag

This bag is the right bag and right price for someone just getting into scouting, camping, or backpacking. I wish it was a little smaller in the stuff sack but other than that it is a great bag at a great price!

I purchased this bag to replace another sleeping bag I had that I mostly used for backpacking. When the bag first arrived I noticed it seemed large. When I first stuffed it down, the size just about matched that of my tent. While it is light the bulk of the stuff size was more than expected and the only down side I can find for this product. Used it on some cold nights (for California that is), around 39 degrees, and I found myself sweating with little additional clothing. This bag certainly does the job, but for a backpacker may not cram down enough and cost you a few liters of space.

This is not the lightest or the most compressible bag, but it does admirably on both accounts. It is certainly a good value. Great entry-level bag for someone getting started in backpacking.
