First off, I have to give Marmot 5 Stars for Customer Service, they really stand behind their products. This bag is generally well made, the exception being the insulation is not evenly distributed. It is not, imo, a 30F bag as advertised, it is not even a 40F bag. Last night in a tent, on an insulated pad, with a flannel liner, it got down to 39F and I was cold. It's a reasonable value for the discounted price, and if Marmot fixed the insulation it would be a good bag.

This is a great sleeping bag, i am always cold and can sleep in this bag with just a t shirt and not feel cold. it did not come with a compression sack so I had to buy one. once inside it packed quit small and fits into the sleeping bag compartment of a womans 65 pack with ease.

Asked on 8/25/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer In order to be able to zip two bags together you need to find a bag model that is offered in both right and left hand zips.

  • Question “does this bag have zippers on both side?”

  • Question “When rolled as in a bed roll, is it easy to compress and remove the air so a tight compact roll can be made, the first time? Do the exterior fabrics allow this?”
Asked on 3/14/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer You will be able to compress this bag fairly well. It will not pack as compact as a down bag would. The exterior fabric is flexible and soft and will not give you any resistance. Enjoy!
Answered on 4/19/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Yes, I used a medium sized compactor bag and it was very easy to get this in and out of it. It compacted well and fit easily into the compartment on the bottom of my backpack.

  • Question “Does it come w/ a stuff sack? I notice reviews say it does not have a compression sack, but is a stuff sack included?”
Asked on 12/28/2009 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer There are two stuff sacks included. One is a large cotton sack for storage to retain loft and allows it to breathe. The second is a small nylon sack that is used when on outings.
Answered on 1/1/2010 12:00:00 AM by Coraopolis from Elkins, WV
    • Answer Yes. One storage sack, and One smaller one.
