Used this bag when camping in temps of ~25F to 60F at night. Temp rating is probably ok if you use a liner and dress appropriately for cold conditions (double/triple layers of everything). I'm surprised that there is no compartment to stuff for a pillow. This is a very constricting bag. I am not large, and I had much less room than I've had in other mummies. If you can't sleep in a snug bag, deal with the extra ounces and get a slightly larger mummy.

Extremely good looking bag, light, easy to zip and tighten up, comes with a compression bag as well as storage bag. We haven't used the bags yet, but they're roomy for a mummy bag. Also, the zipper is a double zipper: you can unzip from the bottom if you're too hot but would prefer to vent at your feet. Nice feature. The regular bag is good for up to 5ft10. Any taller and you should look for a long.

I've used this bag down to about 24 degrees F with nothing but boxers on and been warm. It seems true to its rating (i.e. if i had a base layer on, warm socks, and a beaney, it would be comfortable down below 15F i believe) Compacts well. So far I think its a great bag for a great price, bar none. I love Marmot!

I used this sleeping bag to stay warm while camping in 30 degree weather, just about freezing. I stayed warm especially when wearing long johns and sealing off any opening or place where there is no down. To stay completely warm you probably need an insulated sleeping pad as my pad was not and some cold leaked through the ground due to the weight of my body on the down. In general this sleeping bag kept me very warm.

Just got this bag. Tried it out last night by sleeping out on our deck in tent. Temperatures got down as low as 28 degrees (F) and I was perfectly warm all night. Not once did I feel chilled, this while only wearing undergarments, no leggings, socks, or hat. I feel this bag could comfortably go down to the 5 degree rating, as long as one wore a warm base layer.

I bought this to use backpacking/snowshoe trekking. The light weight is perfect. The construction seems well-made. I am happy with the neck/shoulder sleeve just below the hood. the regular size is perfect for me. I am 5'11" The only drawback is the temp-rating. I was out in 20 F weather with a nice ground pad. I was plenty warm, but I could tell that I was on the border of the temp rating. When I would roll over the compressed down would cause my back to definitely feel the chill. so I would be hesitant to bring this along if I suspected temperatures below 10-15 F. For the price, this is a great bag

This bag is great for down to about 5 degrees F. Could probably even go a little lower with some proper clothing. This bag will keep you warm. That's the bottom line for me. So far, I've bought two: one for me and one for my girlfriend. We can now go winter camping, and I didn't spend very much money at all. Very impressed with this bag.
