Used the tent this weekend for the first time. Very easy to set-up. Very packable for an adventure motorcycle. Weather was good, so I don't know about ability in the rain, but all of the tent seams appear to be of high quality.

There is no footprint; I used a cheap 8x10 tarp. The short side of t... Read More

Most folks don't want to spend money for tents, but I invested in my 3-person, 3-Season and I love it. It sets up pretty fast and it does give great ventilation. I had to get used to the extended vestibule when getting in and out of the tent but did fine once I got used to it. I camped at the Dry Tortugas in Florida for two nights with this tent and stayed totally comfortable in strong winds. I've used the tent several times camping in hot, buggy, rainy Florida and found I was the only one that stayed dry in the rains. Glad to know that others use "cheap tarps" versus paying for footprints. I throw a little mat in the front vestibule and even a tiny step stool in the tent for "stuff", so it's great.

I love this tent! This is actually the third one I am buying. It is super breathable, amazing for stargazing and ventilation, goes up in 5 minutes and the double exit with the vestibules is the best! My singular warning is that the mesh screening is very delicate so I would recommend carrying screen patch if you camp with dogs or children who are both hard on equipment! It is also super light and freestanding, which is amazing for a 3 person tent! The price is also a steal for marmot quality!

I give it 4 stars because I have not used it in the rain yet. 30 mph wind and temp in 40s with fly on, very comfy. Minimal breeze, full moon, temp in low 50s, no fly, great night sleep! It is easy to put up and take down and it packs small.
Yes, I had to add stakes , lines and footprint but.. so what... A good buy and I hope for years of use from this tent.

First night I had the tent out I didn't check the weather prior to going and was surprised with severe thunderstorms, gusting winds, and torrential rains. The tent held up great. No leaking, didn't blow away. Only dislike is when crawling out through the vestibule my back hits the other half and what rain droplets have remained on their do get you wet. Have yet to try the tent without the fly. Would buy again and would recommend.

This review may not be worth much as I have not used this tent yet and am a very novice backpacker. I did consider my needs and did do some research, however. I decided on this tent and am excited to give it some use this summer. It looks like it will work well and meet our needs. I have no reason not to give it 5 stars at this point. I'd rather review items after some use.
