    Bought this coat to wear on cool mornings when I didn't need a heavy winter coat. It is very comfortable and warm. I find the fit to be smaller than typical, but it is likely designed to be a tighter fitting, stretchable jacket. Wore it snowboarding and it was good, but not that windproof, but again I don't think the M3 Marmot shells are designed for that. Overall a great jacket.

    Super clean looking jacket that has great performance. I got this jacket for my husband as I have the womens version and he loves it just as much as I love mine. It's great to wear only 1 layer b/c of the poly on the inside. When I ski I just wear a wicking thin shirt underneath and the jacket and I'm warm and dry.

    Body of the jacket is slim fit in size. For my build (6' ~200 lbs) it proved too much so in a L. It fits, but left no room for layering. So I gave the large to a friend and bought an XL. Very windproof and waterproof. Great for a quick run or ride on the trails.

    I do a lot of winter hiking and scrambling in the mostly dry but often cool/cold Southwest. This jacket provides durability when in rocks and the ability to lightly layer to adjust to changing winds or temperature. It will keep you dry in light rain conditions but not in steady or heavy rains. A large provided adequate volume in the torso for layering but resulted in longer than desired sleeves. I am 5-9" and 175#. It will fit a slender body better.
