Love this 3 person tent! I do a lot of hiking and camping in the High Peaks region in the Adirondacks of upstate New York. Plenty of room for 3 people, and lots of head room. You can enter the tent from both sides. This tent is easy to put up, even if your alone. I would differently recommend this tent, and would buy it again. This Marmot Astral tent rocks and at STP's prices, YOU CAN"T GO WRONG!

This tent is seriously awesome—rain stays out which is somewhat important. I was practically doing jumping jacks inside of this thing it's so roomy!!. Shaking and moving in no problem cuz this thing is huge and lightweight!! You could easily fit 4 people INSIDE. I tried it without the fly on a dry night and it worked great! Awesome for stargazing. This tent went up/and packed quicker than anyone in my group. I'm stoked that it's gone down in price too. I originally bout it for about $500!! Glad Marmot is still selling this thingl.
Also, this was my first Marmot tent. FYI, the orange and red seemed to attract both ladies and gentlemen. Just something to consider if you purchase any Marmot tent as they are all the same color.

This tent has a serious flaw—rain pools on the roof which is somewhat flat. I was poking the top of the tent from the inside to get the water to roll off the tent and then shaking the tent to get rid of water. Shaking the tent caused the condensation on the inside of the tent to drop all over everything INSIDE. I tried staking it different ways so the water wouldn't pool, and nothing worked. This tent took an hour longer to dry than the others in my group. I'm disappointed in Marmot for selling this thing at all.
