Verified Buyer Reviewed by AZ Gal from Arizona on Friday, May 30, 2014I had another Marmot jacket of the same soft, stretchy material that I lost. I was very pleased to find this "quiet" material again in a similar style.
I am a small gal, but I ordered a large jacket for layering and I think it will be perfect. I like long sleeves to keep my gloves dry. The hood fits perfectly.
The pockets are a little high, but I don't think it will be a problem. I have not worn it in the rain yet, but I have no doubt it will do well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PDX city walker/ Oregon hiker from Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, December 4, 2012Love this jacket! Living in beautiful, but rainy Portland it's a must to have a very functionable rain jacket. The hood is not only adjustable, but has a brim as well. It gets windy here and I hate continuously having to pull my hood down when the wind picks up. The repellency of the jacket is amazing, the rain beads up and rolls right off. The pockets are place a little oddly, they sit up high on the torso instead of closer to the waistline like most jackets. So putting your hands in your pockets feels a little odd, but I think I'll get used to that. Also, the jacket bunches a little in the upper front torso, but it's not a deal breaker. Definitely the jacket I had been looking for!
