“The red is a deep, satisfying, absolutely gorgeous color, and not one you see every day. The fabric has no stretch in it, is quite thick, something between a canvas and a twill, and so not great for gymnastic ways of working out. But for bike riding around town or something, just fine. The workmanship is of a very high quality, with deep front pockets, and a flattering fit. Waistline falls a couple of inches below the waist, but that makes them "breathable", and is maybe, along with the well-thought out cut, the ONLY thing that makes them breathable, (and eatable, and sittable...) because, as I say, the fabric IS stiff, and would need to have been woven with like 50% spandex before it could break out of straitjacket territory. There are no little elastic waist inserts or anything like that.”
