Marmot Crystal Shorts (For Women)

Nice shorts. Great buy for price. Fit true to size for me. Have not washed but appear they will be easy care. Great weekend short for whatever outdoor activities you choose.

The red is a deep, satisfying, absolutely gorgeous color, and not one you see every day. The fabric has no stretch in it, is quite thick, something between a canvas and a twill, and so not great for gymnastic ways of working out. But for bike riding around town or something, just fine. The workmanship is of a very high quality, with deep front pockets, and a flattering fit. Waistline falls a couple of inches below the waist, but that makes them "breathable", and is maybe, along with the well-thought out cut, the ONLY thing that makes them breathable, (and eatable, and sittable...) because, as I say, the fabric IS stiff, and would need to have been woven with like 50% spandex before it could break out of straitjacket territory. There are no little elastic waist inserts or anything like that.

The material was good quality and would wear well but I didn't have anything that would go with the color so I returned them.

These seem to be very nice short--good quality fabric, but the waist is a bit snug for me and the length seems shorter than I had figured from the inseam length given.

Terrible Fit

The fabric is heavy cotton but they wash very well and did not fade nor shrink. They are very true to size - I normally purchase a size 4 and these shorts fit perfectly but there is no room for weight gain! If I had to state a "con", it would be that the color limits shirts that look good with these shorts.

These are nice shorts & love the color. Wish they had more colors.

Great fit and very well made

These were too small in the waist for me, a very dark red in color, and had scratchy fabric. They were returned.

Purchased for a Aruba vacation--will work very well.
