Marmot Destination Jacket - Waterproof (For Women)

This jacket is of very nice quality and I love the longer length for extra coverage for downpours. I am 5'5" and 110 lbs. and ordered an xs and a small. I ended up keeping the small to be able to put a sweater underneath, otherwise it would've been tight in the shoulder area for layers.

This was the perfect rainjacket for a recent trip to Europe. The weather was variable, lots of misty drizzly days, 50-60 degrees and this was my go-to outerwear. Easy to pack, great looking on, pockets and detachable hood - perfect!

I buy big. My size was too tight so I went up a size.

The jacket doesn't exactly look like this picture. It is dark black, not charcoal gray. The picture looks as if there were a drawstring at the waist, but there is not, and the "waist" it is really higher than it looks, more of an empire style.

Sophisticated and practical. Large fits like a regular small...seems to be the prevailing trend. However good design and construction. Well worth the cost..

This is a great rain jacket - I've got various other rain jackets and I prefer this over the rest - it's nicely breathable - it kills the rain & affords a great range of motion for a longer jacket. I ordered a large to be able to wear it over layers - it's perfect over my ultra lightweight down jacket or my icebreaker fleece...

I love this coat. It fit me perfectly. It is lightweight, well constructed, and folds up small - perfect for packing. It is exactly what I was looking for for travel!

I ordered this and the Marmot Sassy in a moment of indecision. I sent this back only because I don't need 2 rain coats. It's a very well made coat with all of the extras like inside pocket, snugly fit hood and some fashion details like tabs at the wrists. The shoulder width, sleeve length and bust area fit perfectly on my 5' 7", 135 pound frame. I really liked the trench-like length for optimal dryness in a rain storm. The waistband fit at the empire level on me which was flattering. My husband had to rip this out of my grasp so it could be returned. The coat would be at home for a walk to work or a walk in the woods.

I love the quality of this jacket. I love the length and the overall fit. I am 5'4" tall and 165 pounds. I have a curvy build and this jacket fits very well on me in a large. I can wear warm clothes under it comfortably. I ususally wear a size 10/12. This jacket is not built for warmth but it does a great job keeping me dry all over when I am walking my doggies during wet weather. The jacket looks great! I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have been looking for a waterproof breathable coat for a long time. I am outside with dogs and horses and need something that will keep me dry and is easy to move in. I wore this coat in a very heavy rain while working outside and stayed completely dry and since its breathable I did not sweat. I bought one size bigger so I can layer in the colder months. My other options was the LL Bean trail coat but this was a much better rated coat. Great purchase. The only negative is its bell shape, but I bought for functionality vs fashion. I would have given a 5 star rating if the shape were a little more tapered.
