I have been looking for this coat for some time in a fun color but was disappointed upon it's arrival. The overall fit seemed a bit big. My reason for returning it was b/c the pockets had no zippersand they were always puckered open. Picky yes, but as a lightweight outer layer for ski touring or hiking this would drive me crazy. I have seen more recent styles of this windjacket that do have zippereed pockets and if this one in particular did I would have kept it.

You know a jacket is good when the first one you bought got stolen and you have to buy the exact same one again to replace it... I can't say enough good things about it. A lot of friends have one and love theirs too. Note that I am 5'8" and about 160#, which is usually a size large, but a large was way too big.

I bought this "jacket" from Marmot after misplacing (I refuse to believe it's lost) my Dri-Clime "Windshirt" which I've had for atleast 6 yrs. I wore it all the time. As soon as the temp dropped this was what I reached for, I loved it. It cut the chill in fall and spring keeping me warm and toasty. In really cold weather I added a loftier jacket with it underneath. The jacket is identical in materials (as far as I can tell) The only difference I see is in cut& weight. The jacket is slightly heavier, fuller, more of a straight cut, where the shirt is more contoured or tapered. I'm sure this jacket will serve me well also ! Great product ....

I already had a previous version, but decided to buy one for my relative and another for me! I've used this to warm-up, as a jacket to go out for casual nights-out, and a liner under my ski jacket shell during cold days at Mammoth. An all-around GREAT windshirt.

I have a Driclime from a few years ago that I loved so I decided to get another. This one is a little short in the length, but otherwise great. Love it for hikes and cool morning runs. Also stylish enough to wear with a casual outfit.

Not bulky...carries lots of warmth for the weight...use it for layering in winter and alone in the other seasons. It works very well with the outdoor sports/activity that I do. Fits well so it is not confining but is close fitting enough for layering. I own two of them.

This jacket is a really nice cool weather jacket. It looks good, fits good and really repels the rain. It also packs well. I initially bought one in an attractive rasberry color and the next year bought the Tide. You really can't go wrong with Marmot, and this jacket in particular.
