“The sleeves are a pain”

“I separately tried on the Marmot Furnace and the Palisades shell; both seemed to fit well by themselves. However, when zipped together, the fit feels constricting, especially through the sleeves if you're wearing anything heavier than a shirt. If wearing a sweater, the fabric drags on the Polartec; even if I clutch the edge of the sleeve for dear life it still ends up halfway up my arm (and my arms are the thinnest part of me). The sleeves of the Furnace are a little longer than the shell, too, which is sort of strange. Once I adjust things, it's at least wearable if not totally comfortable. I guess it would help to size up if you plan to layer with a shell. The good part...the combination is very warm and windproof.”
