Marmot Furnace Polartec® Classic Fleece Jacket (For Women)

Bought this jacket in size M and in black. I am 160cm and 60kg and it fits perfectly. I usually buy size S, but from other reviews, decided to get this in a M. Glad I did, as its very fitted, but I can wear a long-sleeve top underneath. It measures 58cm long down from mid-shoulders, 49cm across chest when laid flat and zipped, sleeves 59cm from shoulder tip. Very warm and comfy to wear.

This fleece will definitely keep you warm! It would be great for any winter activity and could be worn in spring and fall for a light jacket. I did return my purchase only because it was to short in the sleeves and in the torso area. If you like your jackets to sit above the hip this might work for you.

Great fleece that fits nicely under my Marmot softshell. I'm 5'3" 120lb and the small fit perfectly. Kept me warm while skiing in 20 deg weather, just make sure you zip up the pockets of your shell because the fleece lets the wind right through! Also great by itself on milder days for casual wear.

Love Marmot overall, but this jacket, though SUPER WARM runs small and sleeves were shorter than other marmot jackets I have. Also, slightly bulky for packing in a weekend pack. (though would be OK to wear) I am usually a medium (5'5" and 128lbs), but this medium felt small to me.

Sawing not smooth

I found this fleece to fit me well. It is more stylish than some fleece jackets and looks less baggy in the overall appearance.

I read all of the reviews and most recommended ordering a larger size in this jacket. I usually order a small, but ordered a medium. When it arrived it was too large. I really liked the jacket, but it was too large, so I will recommend to you to order your regular size. I had to return my jacket. I imagine it just depends on your sizing--each person is different. I did like the jacket. It is well made and the blue is a beautiful color.

Very comfortable and warm. Nice bright blue color. Both elegant and sporty looking.

I separately tried on the Marmot Furnace and the Palisades shell; both seemed to fit well by themselves. However, when zipped together, the fit feels constricting, especially through the sleeves if you're wearing anything heavier than a shirt. If wearing a sweater, the fabric drags on the Polartec; even if I clutch the edge of the sleeve for dear life it still ends up halfway up my arm (and my arms are the thinnest part of me). The sleeves of the Furnace are a little longer than the shell, too, which is sort of strange. Once I adjust things, it's at least wearable if not totally comfortable. I guess it would help to size up if you plan to layer with a shell. The good part...the combination is very warm and windproof.
