    I usually wear a L in tops, but based on comments I ordered an XL. The vest is somewhat long and the zipper started right at my hips, which are apprently too large for an XL (I wear size 16 jeans.)     It's Marmot, you are usually paying more for a fit that is more flattering to a woman. I bought it in Wine and it goes well with all my fall colors and it is very warm. I love the pockets.

    This is a beautiful vest, I bought the green which is a lovely grass color. Marmont clothing seems cut small - I usually wear a lg (sz 10-12) but went to a local store and tried it on first - I needed an XL. The only disappointment was the shoulders are very wide, and I have broad shoulders anyway. The vest floats out past my shoulders a bit...it looks okay, but had I pd. full price I probably would return it. I wouldnt recommend for someone with very shoulders.
