    Great looking jacket with great features. The sleeves are long, but thats OK. This is my first softshell, and I do like my Gore windblock fleece jacket's much better for the warmth to weight ratio. I'll use this one in wet conditions.

    I am 6'3" and 210 lbs with 36 inch arm length. The XL fits like a glove. Perfect for casual wear and good down to 40 degrees in light wind with just a T-shirt underneath. Inside of sleeves has fleece lining making it difficult to wear to work over a dress shirt - hard to keep your shirt sleeves in place.

    I got a great deal on this jacket from STP. 2 days ago I was wearing it on a sunny, 5 degree day, with a 10 MPH wind from the north. I stayed warm and the wind did not penetrate. I had only a long sleeve shirt on underneath. If I were to stay in the cold for a long period I would just put on a shell over it. But of course, I'm a Minnesotan and we do handle the cold better than 90% of the rest of the US.

    Very disappointed. I own another Marmot shell, about 6 years old, that fits well. This model was too tight in the shoulders, borderline in the chest, and too long in the arms. Is Marmot now using Rhesus Macaques as their design models?

    I'm 5'8" and 145lbs. I got a medium and it fit perfectly. I used it several times for tele-skiing. It was much warmer than I would have imagined. With temps in the low 30's, I wore this with a long sleeve wicking T and a patagonia R-1 and I was perfect. Great buy.

    I'm generally between sizes and can't stand frumpy ftting clothing. At 5'8" and 160#, the small is an athletic fit - perfect. This is my first Marrmot and the quality of the coat is well beyond what I expected. My standard is North Face but this coat for the price is far superior to any comparable NF coat.
