    This jacket is very warm, and is definitely wind resistant. I haven't gone out in any torrential downpours to test the waterproof feature yet, but it stands up in light rain. It also fits very well. The sleeves are long enough, and the shoulders are not restricting. I also have trouble finding jackets that are long enough in the torso area, this one fits! Great value for the price. And it's cute, too! :)

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I'm 5ft 90lbs and always wear size XS or petite 00. Most jackets are too big for me, but this one is tight across the chest, making it very uncomfortable. I'm size 34B, and this jacket flattened me out when I zipped it all the way up. It is also heavy, thick, and stiff compared to TNF's Apex Bionic jacket or Mammut's Ultimate softshell. I found the fit to be very uncomfortable, and couldn't wait to take it off!

    I love that it's lightweight, warm, wind proof and is cut for a girl(slightly tapered in at the waist)! Very stylish and I also like the extra length on the sleeves, I get cold hands for most of the winter. It's proving to be at home in town and where it really counts, in the woods(we love to hike).
