Marmot Jacket - Supernova Fleece (For Women)

Lots of nice extra touches to the jacket

I appreciate the jacket weight, workmanship and the longer than average sleeves. It works for me.

I love this jacket! It's actually not for a pear shaped person, but I couldn't find anything else with this yummy orange color, so I took out the bottom elastic and all is well. The sleeves are a bit long, but the cuff is snug so it's OK. It's comfortable in a cool room inside and also outdoors, but it won't block out all but the most intense cold. It's good in the 50's.

I like it. Just as advertised. Lots of great uses.

This jacket is more for wearing in cold weather rather than wearing when running or exercising.

This jacket felt very restrictive and didn't move well. Like the styling, but not the "straight-jacket" feel.

Marmot makes superb fleeces, and this one is no exception. It's thick and heavy outerwear, but it's not that straight-cut "forget fashion, just keep warm" type garment. It's curvy & cute; I love the trim, feminine shaped fit, which distinguishes Marmot's cut (which is rather like Mountain Hardwear's shapely line for women). But keep that in mind when selecting sizes; I think it runs true to size, but if you're not looking for a body-hugging fit, order up a size.

Beautifully made, very tight weave polar fleece, good for layering under a down vest. The chest has a little extra room for layering which I had to get used to at first, but I seem to be reaching for this jacket to take the edge off a chilly day--very versatile. The blue is a gorgeous color.

I love it - fits great, soft and very warm.
