Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wilbur walker from Boulder, CO on Tuesday, September 9, 2014Best combination of light weight, sizable capacity and features that I've found. Loses a star because it is not very durable, the light weight tradeoff. The waist belt is thin and unpadded which might bother some people though it is no problem for me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Oldman from North America on Saturday, August 9, 2014I was looking for a lightweight summit pack that was both light and easy to pack to get from a remote camp to a summit climb. With the padding removed, this pack easily folded into a pocket on my approach pack. It was perfect for carrying a light rack, jacket, rain pants, food water and other essentials for an all-day climb. It also has plenty of straps and points of attachment to accommodate an ice axe and rope. My only complaint (and reason for not rating it higher was the very first time I went to use the front pocket to stuff my jacket in, the seams on both sides of the stuff pocket popped . This would seem to be indicative of a manufacturing defect. We'll see how Sierra TP or Marmot deal with it, and I'll follow up.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tom from Massachusetts on Monday, August 4, 2014The backpack did not fit well, it was very restrictive in the shoulders (5.11 /175 lbs.) so I had my daughter try it on (5.2 / 100 lbs.) and felt it was also uncomfortable. The pack is very light and stiff/narrow on the upper shoulder straps, This would be better for a smaller framed person. I returned it for a Haglofs Breeze 30L. I like and have other Marmot equipment but not in this case.
Reviewed by gman80918 from colorado on Wednesday, April 2, 2014Picked up one for myself and then another for my son back when they had the gray packs with orange trim. Comfortable for a day hike and holds a good amount of gear food and water.

Question “does this have a rain cover?”
Answer Hey Chris, i did not experience yet but look like it is a weatherproof other way there is no other cover then what you see on the picture !
Answer Offhand, it appears pack capacity and volume liters are identical measurements, expressed in standard (cubic inches) and metric (liters). Pack volume appears to be a classification for sorting, in that many packs will fit in the range of volumes listed under that spec. Pack Volume would be used to search for a particular size class of pack, like if I knew I wanted something with 25L or 55L depending on whether I wanted a daypack or overnight pack, or a larger pack for longer treks.
