Marmot Launch Shell Jacket - MemBrain® (For Men)

I loved the material, and the chest fit perfectly (I'm a 37-38" chest, ordered the small). I ended up returning it because the sleeves were too short (which is a common problem for me, but Marmot are usually okay), and the upper arms were strangely baggy. I also wasn't thrilled that the powder skirt wasn't removable (I don't ALWAYS ski), but realize that the description was correct about the skirt. If you can find a good fit, it's a great jacket with amazing materials and very nice lining. Quality seemed great.

great bargain on this jacket. It rained two days after i received it and the jacket was perfect though i would recommend rain pants or similar if the rain is heavy or you will be out in it for a period of time, the jacket does drain onto your butt.

I've been looking for a waterproof shell since my Columbia waterproof jacket is insulated and too warm when it's over 45 deg. while on my usual walks. This shell is perfect. Wore it in a light rain yesterday, then today in a heavier rain for about 30 min. Stayed dry inside, water beaded up well. Had to layer over a fleece to stay warm, so it should work well when the weather warms up. Even has a snow skirt, though that feature won't be used by me. Like the cell phone pocket inside the left chest side, I'll use for my MP3 player. Got a small in black, fits perfectly and it has an addl. zipper to zip in my black Marmot warmlight fleece when I need extra warmth. Even like little details like elastic cuffs so I can slip the sleeves off without undoing the velcro at the cuffs. Only thing missing is some reflective strips. I'll deal with that. At the STP price with VIP discount, it was well under $100. This was a steal.
