Marmot Levity Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

Glad I found it. Fits this 5'7" -170 frame just fine. Shoulders/chest area is alittle broader than I need but anyone with a fuller chest area won't have any problem zipping up. I like to wear layers so for me it's tops.

Just did not fit me

The best part of the jacket is the fit. Since it contains stretch and the material is lightweight, it's got a very sleek drape. And it's comfortable! You'll get lots of compliments. I have the heavier, warmer, and more expensive Marmot Sharp Point that I adore but there is a stiffness to it that the Marmot Levity does away with. It's not really meant for cold weather which is perfect when I need to a light weight layer to hold off a breeze or an over-ambitious air conditioning vent. I would not recommend it for running, as there are better jackets out there. There's a handy inside zip pocket, too. I do wish it had pit zips though.

Received the Levity Jacket for fiance and was shocked that it had absolutely no lining whatsoever. Basically this makes it good for nothing in my view. I have an REI jacket that's VERY light for mild temps but it at least has a lining for 56-65 F degrees wear with a t-shirt. Can't do this with this jacket, so what's the point? Will definitely return. I was mislead by the reviews saying it was for colder temps. Maybe they were misplaced or something.

The fit on this jacket is nice and looks very good. It blocks the wind pretty well but is not meant to be warm. Great for a spring or fall day or summer evening.

This is a shell lined with light fleece. But when worn with layers, it keeps you warm. Nice colors. Snug to body with lots of room in shoulders; nice cut. My husband likes it!

I ordered this jacket to wear as a layer under other jackets. However, I love the look and feel... I wear it all by itself.

This is a stylish soft shell jacket that I use for errands, outdoor activities at a variety of temperatures depending on what I have underneath it. The cut is flattering and fits well.!
