Fits slightly tight, however this is fine for my needs. Can also wear as a top layer.

I like the longer length of this top but I'm disappointed with sizing: medium fits my shoulders well, but is super baggy throughout the body. Cannot anyone make athletic gear for athletically shaped female body with wider shoulders?
Also, I did not see any use for this top in keeping me warm - I was completely misled by the Polartec fabric name. The frabric is regular thin polyester knit.
Not willing to spend on return shipping, I have destined this top for indoor athletic activities - and I certainly have not been hot in it.

If you have narrow shoulders and a wide, rectangular torso, this top might be for you.

I wore this as a base layer with 2 more Marmot layers on top on my first day on the Camino Frances 4/22013. Began in St Jean Pied de Port however I was expecting warmer weather since the previousl week was in the 80's. Had on hiking pants,2. pair of socks, base mid top layer, windbreaker merino wool gloves hat, scarf and 15lb backpack(it weighed too much n ended up leaving some crappy along the way)..I was still cold. I'm from S.C. beach area n didn't have a reference point of hi mountains n cold weather. However I made it out alive n didn't freeze to death..had blisters on my toes bcos my vasques weren't broken in enough. Unfortunately sometimes one must live n learn by living. I've now worn the shirt about 20x since I'm still on the camino n it never smells...tho I do wash it every 2-3 days..Buen camino

I ordered one in blue... loved the length (somewhat longer) and color... so I ordered a second in black. Sizing is somewhat inconsistent as the black one (in a small) is smaller than the blue -- but still okay and I kept both.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
