“I really like this jacket for walking the dog when it's really cold out. It's big enough to wear up to three layers underneath while leaving airspace for between each layer for warmth. The pit zips are perfect for the hilly terrain. Fabric seems like it will last a very long time. Don't yet know how this will perform in the rain, but it is outstanding and blocking the wind. I may never zip off the hood as I'll only wear it in conditions cold enough requiring using the hood. Great cut with the length in arms and torso perfect and girth around chest and waist the same. Features are excellent with pockets and velcro wrist adjustments. The two interior pockets made for ipos and gps fit mine perfectly. This jacket is heavy and is not for backpacking or even a long day hike when conditions vary. Great for car camping, using around town, or short day hiking. Can't believe I got a jacket like this for that price.”
