I have other Marmot products one is a jacket from 1980 and I still get complements on it when I wear it. I was pleased to get a new one and this shell is very versital and works very well, where my larger jacket is too bulky. This is great rain and wind protection when it is just wet and not too cold. If you're looking to stay warm, you will have to layer up underneath. Its lightweight and doesn't take up space which will be great for traveling. It's got classy lines and doesn't look like you just stepped of the slopes, but that you just stepped out of BMW. The only complaint is that I had to get a Large to get the sleeves long enough for me so the body isn't as fitted as I'd like, but that's because I'm 6 feet tall with extra long arms. My other Marmot has the same issue, so I knew to order up. It builds up static depending on what you wear under it.

seems well made, but very unflattering cut for female figure. maybe if you are a skinny 20-something with no bustline.....

Needed a raincoat this worked perfect. Not too heavy or too light!

Great fabric and love the contrast zippers. Didn't like the pocket location - too high to be comfortable, and for me the bottom belled out and made me look like I had much larger hips. I think a size down would have looked better but it wouldn't have accommodated layering, so back it went. Such a bummer. I had such high hopes...

It's great to have a jacket that is really waterproof and breathes.

cute waterproof jacket. My only complaint is that the hood pulls back a bit and it feel like it pulls at your neck a bit... I'll get used to it though.
