Marmot Nutshell Ultralight Tent - 2-Person, 3-Season

I went camping in the Rockies with this tent and it did great. Setup was fairly easy, and the fly kept the night condensation off of us. I had one other person in the tent that is about 5'8 and I am about 6'2 and we were comfortable enough. Carrying this tent is not bad. Sturdy poles during a windy night. Good buy

I love this tent, easy to set up, durable, dry. The only con I would say is that it is really tight fit for 2 people (I am 5'2" and my friend is 5'5" and we were snug), and would be great for 1 person and gear. We had to store our gear outside the tent in trash bags.

I have logged about a dozen nights in this tent so far. Once I learned the 3 different pole lenth system, I found it super easy to put up and take down ALONE. Been in high winds, rain, sand and all systems are good. 2 people plus gear is a bit tight. Vestible size for 2 also tight. Poles are the best I have used thus far, also owned a limelight 3P. I do miss the ground cover and gear loft that this tent does not have. Fly is easy to put on. AND ITS SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT, HELLO!!!!

bought 2 so it's more versatile for the family

I got this tent in preparation for doing the GR20 in Corsica. I wanted a light weight, easy-to-use 2-person tent and that is just what i received. I am about to leave tomorrow for my trip and, after setting up the tent in my backyard, am fully confident that I made the right choice in tent. The fly was a little hard to align with the poles but that is the only problem -- it will also probably work itself with time and practice setting up the tent.

Bought this for our son's 16th birthday and were surprised that it's very purple! "Nutshell" in no way prepared us for purple with red accents. Son didn't care for the way it sets up with three poles. Great price, but just didn't work out for us.

When I got the Marmot Nutshell it was a little goofy in the setup. I wanted something that I would be able to assemble and disassemble quickly by myself. This may take some practice. It may not be the best purchase for one person looking for something simple and easy. It may be easier to set up if there were 4 hands. I have not taken it outside yet, so I do not have the best review. However, the tent seems sturdy without the pegs in the ground. The rainfly seems to cover it completely. Only negitive, I did not like was that there is a small window in the front that does not get covered by the rainfly. I am a private person so I may have to make adjustments to cover it. Otherwise, I am happy with my buy and excited to take it out!

I set this tent up in my living room right out of the box with no instruction. Ultra light and easy to use. Well worth the price paid on STP.
