The Marmot gore-tex pants are well designed and it fit quite well for me. I bought a slightly larger size as I read in the other reviews and that worked out well. This is especially important if you plan to wear another layer under the gore-tex pants. In terms of inseam lengths there are not many op... Read More

Loved the material. Have heard people complain they are too thin but so long as you where something underneath them like you are supposed to then you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever. My only problem is that they were a couple of inches too long for me but with boots and gaitors on i don't notice it ( my boots aren't waterproof lol ). Apart from that they were a great fit.

These are very nice lightweight waterproof pants, fold up very well to put in a backpack.

For the price, these pants are perfect. The fit is spot on and allows for plenty of movement. The elastic waist allows for great fit over jeans, base layers, or just shorts. The articulated knees work as advertised. Crouching, running, squatting, etc are all doable without any pulling. I am 6'3" 230 lbs and the XL fit perfect. I am excited to try these on the lake this fall fishing as well as outdoors this winter as a great shell.

These pants fit well, but the elastic waist band makes them look cheap. Everything else is great.

These rain pants are gore tex so they should do their job keeping me dry, marmot so like 95% of their stuff quality and will last. I will say i am tall and thin so i went large to get the length but the waist is just a tad bigger than i would like (read they just stay up over normal clothes). If Sierra Trading Post had medium longs i would have bought them but that never seems to happen. If they fall apart or don't keep me dry i will report back but i have high hopes for these. Light enough to take in case, could maybe pack smaller but then i imagine the fabric would be more fragile.
