Marmot Oracle Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

The fit on this jacket is absolutely perfect on my 5'9, 170 figure. The waterproofing is great, and it breathes well. It is also reasonably resistant to the wind. The pit zips are a little difficult to operate with a pack on, which kind of sucks because that is when I am most prone to use them. The hood is nice, and it has a rigid visor over the brim. It is big enough to be worn over a helmet, and there are good features for adjustment. Stowing it is a bit of a pain though.[...]. The newest version from Marmot is using their new MemBrain material, which is superior.

great used as an outer shell or a light weight waterproof wind breaker. weighs almost nothing and takes up little room in pack.

Unfortunately the sizes for this nice jacket are not standard. Chest size is to small. If I recommend this product I encourage to be careful with the sizes.

Marmot is highly overrated

This was a gift for our son who immediately tried the jacket on for size...adjusted the velcro at the wrist, zipped it up and was out the door for a bike ride...in a light rain!! It will be perfect!

It's relatively lightweight, yet the outer material feels strong enough that I believe it will last. The 2.5 material is still slightly clammy against my arm skin, but it's a lot better than other 2.5 materials. It's also a lot cheaper than other breathable waterproof jackets.

Almost five stars: but this garnment keeps un bit body wet.

Just got the jacket, so don't know how it performs in weather. That's why only 4 stars - won't rate on performance I haven't confirmed. Didn't feel clammy while wearing in the house for a short time. Good quality, L fits me well (6'2", 190 lbs)

great jacket! water beads up and just runs off. In moderate or better downpours, it has kept me dry and that's what I was looking for.

Too bad the only size choice was in funky colors. But, when it arrived I knew I could live with it. Got the Golden eye. Quality abounds. My last Marmot lasted only 6 years but I used and abused it, and it's still serving me ok, just wearing out.
