Based on others comments that the pants are too small, I ordered an extra-large, when I normally wear a large. They were huge, and I had to exchange them for a large. These fit quite nicely, though the waste is tighter than the rest of the pants. I received the request for this evaluation right after I received the pants, so I haven't had time to try them out for durability or breathability or for their waterproofness, but they are comfortable, ook like they are well made, and pack well.

Great pants. Comfy. Flexible. Easy to move in--I don't feel like I'm wrapped in plastic wrap! Layers under make them totally flexible; I've worn them with fleece, woolies, and sweats. Easy fit. Feel great to wear. Totally wind- and water-proof.

Was looking for breathable, waterproof pants without spending a bundle. Haven't test-driven these yet, but they appear to be well made. Unlike others, I didn't need size up (altho legs seem roomier than waist).

I bought these to wear sailing in the Northwest. They have a reinforced seat and knees- key features. Pants are beautifully made. They do run small. I am a pear-shaped size 8 and bought a Large to have room for an underlayer or two. I haven't tried them in weather yet, but my Marmot Precip jacket has worked out well. The brand quality and pricing sold me.

Am in my 50s, so took the advice of others who commented on the small sizing and ordered 1 size up. They have a flattering fit - not like other baggy rain pants. Have not used yet in the rain, so can't give it a higher rating. They look well constructed. My legs are fairly long (32" inseam) and Marmot's pants are always long enough for me. Will re-rate them after use in the rain.

It would have been the perfect rain pant, but way too small. I don't remember seeing the word "stretch" in the description, but it was definately on the label when I received them. Not sure why you would ever want a stretch rain pant, especially when it is meant to be an over layer. The girl I sold them to is a small, and they were even tight on her. GO BIG, OR GO HOME!

These were nice pants, but built for the younger generation. A stylish fit that was too restrictive for me, a senior citizen.
