“I bought this as an outer layer for long winter runs. Thus far I have worn it down to about 34 degrees (with a Capilene 2 or 3 underneath)and it keeps me warm, but the lack of breathability causes me to be soaked with sweat by the time I get back to the trailhead. It is great in the wind, but the sweat factor almost makes it better to just layer up with more breathable fabric. I am hoping that when my runs start happening well below freezing, perhaps I won't sweat as much... Just something to think about. If you're not working up a big sweat, this jacket would probably be perfect.”
