    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I wear this jacket when I go out in the yard to play with my dogs or garden. I live on the side of a mountain near the ocean, so it is often windy. This jacket provides light-weight protection from the wind and excellent freedom of movement. The one big negative is that the sleeves are way too long. I will fix that because I otherwise really like the jacket.

    I bought this for my wife thinking it was the equivalent of the the same Marmot Driclime Windshirt I bought for myself 5 years ago. Not true. The quality has left this product. There are no hand pockets. It is very light and poorly made of very cheap components compared to my 5 year old version. It is being returned.

    This is a nice looking jacket and it's light, which is perfect for running (which is what I intended on using it for). There's a nice thin warm layer inside the jacket, which seemed like just the right amount for a cold day. It fit a little too tight in the chest, so I had to send it back. If I hadn't found another jacket that I like just as much, I would've ordered a size larger in this jacket.

    I bought this as a gift. This Marmot top sizing was diffrent from the other Marmots. I went with the sizing chart that stated a 8-10 was a large in this Item. I should have stuck with the medium even though it stated the size was a 4-6. I thought the sizing chart was off even if this item runs slightly smaller. Otherwise a great product for layering in the winter or by itself in fall/spring. Easy to pack.

    This jacket does everything promised in the description - it's lightweight, repels water, and has a light fleece lining which keeps you warm, dry and comfortable when running in wet or misty weather. Great for hiking in the backcountry on drizzly days. Very light and packable.

    I have not really tested this jacket, so I can't really say how well it performs. It seems really warm and lightweight, but I can't get past the very long sleeves. I'm not a tall person (I'm 5' 2"), but I don't normally have a problem with sleeves being too long. These completely covered my hands with arms stretched out. Other than that, the fit was just fine.

    The sizing is the only drawback to this product. I normally wear a M or Lg, but had to get an XL and even at that, can wear only a t-shirt under it. It's fitted and if the next size were available, I'd go for it, for a little extra comfort. I bought it for early morning walking and it does a fine job of keeping the wind out and is warm enough for late spring/early summer weather.

    This is a great jacket! Great color. Fits well and is suited for a wide variety of temperatures. I wear it for golfing and running errands when it is 45 plus. I would also run in it- but only when it was under 30 degrees. Only drawback is there are no hip pockets- only chest pocket.
