It fits well, is a lovely bright color and has a hood that folds into the collar. The Sierra price is pretty similar to the REI price when it is on clearance. I think what I like best about Marmot is that they guarantee their products long term. Very few, if any companies are willing to do that. I have worn it in light rain but hope it will perform well in a deluge!

Arm length a little longer than most other brands and a great length in general. This will be a perfect 3-season top layer.

This jacket fits really great and is long enough for me, which can be difficult because I'm 5'10". I have not worn it in the rain yet but it seems like it will work great. Overall very comfortable and stylish as well.

I bought the jacket specifically because it was light weight, waterproof with "pit" ventilation. I get pretty hot while riding my bike so I just need something to stay dry. Jacket is perfect length so that my backside isn't exposed while bent over my bike.
