    I am not sure why Marmot manufactures items with short sleeves. For active people, slightly longer sleeves are more desirable. I would think Marmot would err on the side of slightly longer sleeves but maybe they want to save $.10 per garmet via fabric reduction ... too bad.

    I usually wear an XXL in Marmot, but this fleece is alittle bigger(in the shoulders)than normal. I returned for an XL. At the discounted price, this fleece is a decent buy for 2 hundred weight fleece. The pit zips are not uncomfortable. However, if you wear your clothes skin tight they would be... A chest pocket keeps me from giving it 5 stars. Overall, Marmot quality is always excellent.

    Nice design with good materials is ruined by the large zippers under the arms which are made even more bulky and uncomfortable by the need for fleece gussets to protect the wearer from the cold steel. Oops, a bad idea ruins a good product.
