lightweight top feels great on, i bet it's warm but don't know since i returned it. sleeves are way too short for me. i am 5'11". would probably be fine for avg/short height.

I love Marmot because their jackets have worked extremely well for me - I'm tall and thin, and their sleeves and body lengths are always long enough for me when other brands are several inches short. I'm 5'11" and about 160 lbs - so far, Marmot's size Large jackets have fit me very well, but based on the previous reviews on this base layer top, I ordered an XL and crossed my fingers. The fit is excellent for me!!! The sleeves are plenty long, and body length is very long (perfect for me!) and it's flattering on me for my figure without showing the parts of my mid-section that I'm a little conscious of. I wore it with just a tank top underneath the other day and it kept me very warm and looked so nice!!

The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because my arms were slightly itchy during the day because of the fabric. Not sure what that was all about, but not a huge complaint yet. I haven't worn this backpacking yet, but bought this for that purpose, mainly!

I have several similar base layers from Marmot from years back. Marmot must have changed since then. The length of this was rather long - longer than most. The shirt was wide enough across the shoulders & not too bad across the chest but the arms, especially the upper arms, were uncomfortably tight. I guess when they say "slim fit" they really mean very long & skinny ultra slim including the arms.

Overall this garment ran a small size. I ordered a large and found that it fit like a much smaller, tighter garment. Even the armholes were unusually small and tight. I returned it.
