    At 10oz you have no excuse to not carry these, drop the full zip version and they get even lighter. I choose these since they are easier to get on/off with mountaineering boots and crampons, or snowshoes without shredding the pants.

    I have not had a chance to test these in their intended context (motorcycling in the rain/fog). However, they appear to be well made and they are easy to put on over jeans. I expect them to work well. For reference, I am 5'7" and generally wear 34" waist/30" inseam or 32" inseam jeans. I purchased the large (34-26" waist) and they fit easily over jeans without being baggy.

    These are very nice and I have no complaints except that the waist needs a drawstring or some other adjustment. There are some Velcro-type adjusments at the waist, but they don't allow for very much adjustment and tend to come undone. (I'll probably use clip-on suspenders in the future). Otherwise, these are very nice rain pants. I wore them for three plus hours of golf in steady rain and no water came through. Also, they seemed to "breathe" well and I didn't get hot despite temperatures in the low 70s.
