Great, lightweight waterproof jacket. Backpacker magazine just rated this the top waterproof jacket for less than $100. For the price, very breathable. Highly recommend.

Very nice jacket, appears well made. Sized appropriately, plenty of room for layering beneath this jacket, but not too big. Have yet to use it however as I purchased this for an upcoming white water rafting trip. Will update after...

Have owned same jacket before and was very happy with it. It was time for a new one especially at this low price.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid, packable rain jacket

This jacket compresses to a small size, is breathable, the fabric and seams are of high quality, and it vent relatively well.

Maybe my only minor complaint is that I would prefer shock cord tabs on both sides of the waist hem, not just one.

Bought this for my son. The fit was great-plenty of room to move but not bulky. It's waterproof and has venting. Would recommend this product.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
