I am a women with an average head and the blue fits great. If you have a man's head that is big, then this hat will be to small for you.

Perfectly fit for rainy conditions

The brim could be wider to block more sun, stiffer cause it holds no shape and its not sewn in so it mushrooms up. I'd return it but its not worth my time. Great versus the elements. Magnets are cool. both sides down for sun and rain, one side up for going on safari and both sides up for going to West Hollywood.

I was looking to replace my old full brim rain hat and went with Marmot. Love it so far. Fit is good, but the adjustment bungy strap is useless if I wanted to make it a tight fit for windy conditions. I may make some mods to accommodate. Very water proof. I put it on my 4 year old while he was in the tub and poured a huge bucket of water over his head. The water rolled right off. Only left some tiny beads of water on the brim. He thought it was funny and wanted me to do again and again.

Too early to judge, just got it as a present. Kind of a boonie cap for yuppified nerds or bald dudes on The Weather Channel? It's Marmot after all. Well, 3rd world sweatshop Marmot.

This is a lightweight, waterproof hat. It fits true-to-size and is adjustable. The sides can be flipped up (and are held there by weak magnets). I wear this summer and winter when hiking/fishing.

Bought this for my father for an Alaska cruise. I think it will be very useful there for him

I followed the directions as far as fit; the size I chose was perfect. Finally, I've found the perfect hat for fitness walking in the rain or for traveling to work.

it is pooring rain today and my husband took this hat! great hat, nice and dry - repellent, yet breathes. This is a must have for the Great Northwest. We'll see how durable it is since we just got it, but it look s like a winner today!
