Closeouts. A toasty knit design and a sturdy brim make Marmot's Radar beanie hat a favorite for everything from snowboarding to a chilly walk across town.

With a slightly longer bill than most hats like this, I notice it works better blocking sun and snow also. It is not as long as a ball cap but a bit more than usual. Another good thing is, if you have a 7 1/2 head, the hat is large enough to cover your ears without having 'cocker spaniel" earflaps, something that most beanie style hats cannot say. I find this hat great for the approach, when physically moving, hiking, or climbing as it breathes very well, being air-permiable and doesn't sweat out your hair.
