    Wow! What a great pair of pants, I've worn them casual wear, working out at the gym, daily walking and can't wait to use them hiking!     This is a great product for colder weather hiking. I took these to Kilimanjaro for the final day ascend and they kept me warm as a mid layer throughout the 6 hour hike to the top at 10F-20F degree weather (I had a light under layer and down pants over it). Bumping against sharp rocks on the descend, falling on gravel did not tear them and they still look like new. They are also very flexible under cold weather conditions unlike other heavier pants, and they repel enough water so you do not have to change all the time when it lightly rains. If they still had my size I would get a second pair!!!

    I ordered the "short" version but it was still too long... I'm a 30" and the short description was probably a 34"... cannot imagine what a regular version would be. I'll keep the pants, because it's an excellent quality pair and I may have it shortened professionally. The pants fit nicely in every other way... hard to find.
