I am 5'10' and normally have an inseam of 32, but the XL was really long and were too baggy in the hips.
The quality is fantastic and I wish they fit right, but I returned them.

I usually wears 28, and ordered an M of these pants. They run large, and too long for me. I think the size chart may have some problems, but would not like to bother to return.

Love everything about it. It's lightweight, waterproof, and brightly colored. I do find it strange that it unzips all the way through.

These pants have kept me dry so far telemark skiing (and falling lots), and building and digging out snow shelters. I was particularly amazed when, after sitting on and being surrounded by snow for a good two hours, I took them off to crawl into my sleeping bag at night, and my base layers were perfectly dry. The side zips lent me vent like crazy when hiking, and the inner gaiter does a great job of keeping snow out of my boots. I ordered a small since I'm 5'2 but as usual, these pants were a little long on me, that just means that I had a wrinkle halfway down my calf--not too big of a deal. Also they were snugger than I would prefer on my hips and bum, which made those areas colder. However that isn't the end of the world. I'm in a wilderness leadership program and need these pants for six day out trips in the middle of January in Montana. Thus far they have been more than satisfactory. And the yellow color is pretty awesome.
    Overall: Excellent pants.
