I am very happy w/ this purchase. It is well made and was a very good value from Sierra. I also think that the sizes are "true". I ordered a large and the fit is perfect.

Just way too big for me. Not that it is a bad shirt but the XL was too flowy for what I thought was a shirt for workingout. Maybe OK for a thicker XL. I am a tall XL.

I've started purchasing more Marmot clothing this year and couldn't be more satisfied! The shirt is true to fit and very comfortable with the expected performance from a quality brand. I plan on snagging up more Marmot shirts of this quality at STP pricing!

I'm 6'3", 175lbs and long arms. Medium fits perfectly. This is like my fifth Marmot piece. Silky with slight resistance to snagging, looks like it will wash and hold up very well. Excellent seams, breathability is **perfect**. Zero regrets. One note: I bought the black w/red trim, and the trim was more extensive than the picture depicted; also the silver trim at the arms was actually near the bicep/tricep. Still looks cool.

A great fitting, suuuuuper comfy base layer. I wear this on colder cycling days under one of my many Marmot outer layers like
    my Driclime jacket or vest
Temperature/sweat control starts with a great base layer, and this, or the short sleeve version which I also have, are excellent.

  • Question “Is this shirt tight fitting around the chest? Stomach/waist? Arms? Wrists?”

Asked on 11/20/2014 8:32:38 AM by Seanahue from Andover, Minnesota
    • Answer It depends on how big you are. This is not a muscle shirt and is more of a classic fit. This is a really great workout shirt.

    • Answer It wasn't tight fitting on me and unless you usually wear XXL or larger, I don't think you'd find a large size tight across the chest and arms. The waist tapers in so there isn't a lot of extra fabric there. Since the fabric is stretchy and lightweight, you don't feel any restriction as with a compression shirt.
