    Great pants because you an layer underneath and adjust for the weather each day. Would like to have the heavier weight too but seems you don't carry them.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I had very high expectation of these pants but was disappointed due to the length of the pants. I'm 5'6 and 115lb. I have long waist so my legs are not very long. When I read other reviews complaining about the length, I assumed maybe it could not be an issue for me. But unfortunately, the length of the pants even didn't work for me. I had to return it.

    Love these for biking in cool to pretty cold weather. The legs are fairly slender so you don't have to worry about them getting in the chain. Not waterproof, but water resistant, great in snow. Also gave a pair as a gift and recipient loves them too for xc skiing & dogwalking. If they don't fit right, make sure the tag says "women's", as 1 of the pairs sent was way big and I noticed the tag didn't say women's. STP fixed it promptly. I'm 5'4" and 130, I got the L, I have a little extra length, but not much.
