IT FITS WELL, HAS ENOUGH SPACE AND ROOM FOR MOVEMENT AND IS VERY PRACTICAL. IT FEELS ND LOOKS WELL MADE AND COMES IN SOME NICE COLOURS TOO. Sierra has increased their shipping prices by a HUGE amount!!$$ so it costs alot to buy from sierra now. that is a real shame, i wanted to buy more....

It is a little snug in the chest fo be used over a heavy under layer but it is very comfortable for general use. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Answer I think the Marmot Threshold Jacket is exactly what your looking for.

Answer This is one of three softshells that I have, all of which have similar construction. I don't think of them as appropriate for high output aerobic activity in that there is a layer of insulation bonded to the exterior fabric. When I exercise I prefer to have a base layer or two (if cold) with a breathable, uninsulated outer shell. I think these softshells have too much insulation, leading to too much heat build up - but that's just my take.
