Closeouts. The Marmot Titan backpacking tent is mostly mesh under the weatherproof fly to keep you exceptionally cool in hot weather and eliminate tent condensation when the mercury drops. The perfect lightweight tent for casual weekend backpackers, with added length so you can really stretch out.
Easy-up with two DAC Featherlite press-fit poles
Two doors with their own vestibules
2-person, 3-season
Floor: 88x54", 36 sq.ft. (48.5 sq.ft. with vestibules)
I have only set it up once in my house but it did go up very easily. I won't be using it for a few months so I wish I could say more. It looks like it should hold up well. I bought the 2 person Titan and even though it is one of the larger 2 person tents it doesn't give lots of extra roomso2 vestibules are going to be very useful. The fly comes to about 4-5 inches from the ground so that does concern me for heavy rains but there are plenty of guy points to pull the fly out so it should be fine. All in all it looks like it will last many years.

A little small for 2 people, especially dudes. The inside is the size of a twin matress. I should have measured and would have bought the three person.

We plan to use this tent for a 3-4 night backpacking trip next summer. We set it up in the yard and seems like it will comfortably hold 2 adults and 2 60L backpacks. Probably wouldn't work for two tall people though. I am only 5'2" so the bags fit at the end of my feet in the tent. My boyfriend if 6' tall and fits comfortably in the tent, but no room for bags at his feet.

This tent was light enough to take on a bike-in camping trip. Big enough to fit 2 cushy Therma-Rest Camp Rest mattresses. Easy enough to set up that my 10 year old son brought it and set it up and slept in it by himself on our next camping trip. All around a great LITTLE tent.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY TEENAGE SON FOR BACKPACKING TRIPS AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! MY SON'S FRIENDS WERE SO IMPRESSED THAT 3 OF THEM BOUGHT ONE AS WELL BECAUSE THEY LIKED IT MORE THAN THEIR'S. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR 2 PEOPLE AND TAKES MINUTES TO SET UP AND TAKE DOWN. GOOD DUAL ENTRY AND DRIES REALLY EASILY. GOOD WIND/RAIN FLAP. COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. VERY HIGH QUALITY AND GREAT PRICE!
MY SON DOES A TON OF RESEARCH AND IS VERY PICKY SO IF HE'S PLEASED WITH IT, IT'S A GREAT TENT!

All-round comfy, easy, reasonably lightweight backpack tent for two people who don't mind being close. There are lighter tents and roomier tents but this splits the difference pretty well for the price.

The basic tent is incredibly easy to set up, but adding the fly is a challenge. As a fair-weather insect barrier it's fantastic. The fly design is pretty flimsy, attaching with fastex buckles that will likely break in time, and tiny velcro around the 4 poles to prevent wind-flapping, and requires all the stakes to keep things tight (not good for hard ground requiring a more freestanding design); looks like windy/wet weather would be tough. Inside is really cramped, more of a 1.5-person shelter than a 2-man tent. No instructions so practice the setup a couple times before you need to do it on a trip. Worth the price at [$], but not really a serious packing or bad-weather tent.

I used this tent on Mt Adams and Mt Rainier last summer. It was light weight and held up to some very strong winds. My son then "Borrowed" it for his job as a woodland firefighter. I purchased another this summer to replace the one that he is using.
