I work for the U.S. Forest Service. We have nice tents that are issued to us but I wanted something bigger than what we had availible. I use it in fire camps, when working out in the field, and for personal camping. It packs small and light enough to pack in my checked bag for flying yet very roomy for myself and my stuff (I am 6'2"). It is good in rain and wind as well.

I am a new Scout dad, and I got this tent for my birthday. It is light, well vented, easy to set up, and free standing. It is also easy to see at night, although reflective guy lines would have been nice. Two good sized men (6'+ & 200# + each) spent a very comfortable night in this tent. There is lots of room, and I don't regret asking for this tent over the two man version. The vestabules are nice for stowing a backpack and stinky boots.

We will purchase several for our Boy Scout Troop. Wish it had adjustable roof vents as this will be used as 3 season tent with a few nights of winter camping.

The Marmot Titan was so easy to setup (even without directions)! Tested in backyard. Passed the rain test (no extra sealing necessary/actually found out that sealing voids warranty). Then set up in Tyler State Park, TX. Marmot passed wind test. Temps dropped to low 40s and was still comfortable. Need to learn about staking on hard ground though. VERY happy with STP and this Marmot Titan tent. Can't wait for spring when we won't need the rainfly (test for bugs) and will be able to see the stars!!

Awesome tent, plenty of room for 3. Love the price, got an extra 30% off so it was under $150! Love the 2 vestibules and entrances and mesh design for the summer. Super warm and wind resistant with the fly. A little on the heavy side, but parted out between one or two others, it wouldn't be bad to carry Only drawback, this tent doesn't come with a footprint and its hard to find one that matches online. What I did is went to the hardware store and got a lightweight tarp based on the tent footprint size. The one I picked out actually sized up perfectly—the tent poles even fit in the grommets on the tarp! I would recommend doing this if you buy this tent.

Bought it to replace a 2 person tent when my wife and I started taking our 2 dogs backpacking. It has plenty of room for all of us. Great ventilation too!

the only thing this tent is lacking is something to tie flashlight under the roof, there are some rings but small ones, I will need to attach the string there

Bought this for the family and the two person for my 18 y.o. son. Both tents are great! They're incredibly light weight and take minutes to set up and take down. Good dual entrance and super airy if the weather is good. Good rain flap as well. Both kids and my husband LOVE them!!!! Even the color is good. Seems very well made like all Marmot and an incredible deal even without the coupons.

I've used marmot tents for thousands of miles of paddling along the coasts of Washington, British Columbia and Alaska. Notoriously wet environments. They are lightweight, sturdy, wellbuilt, quick to set up and most importantly, dry. The Titan 3 is a great tent for a great price. I really like the short crosspole which gives extra headroom in the vestibules. This tent will taco in the wind, but it takes a lot of wind, forty plus mph. This is simply one of the trade-offs with a two pole design. They don't make a groundcloth for this tent but the limelight 3 is the same footprint if you can find one, or just buy one for a larger tent and trim it down. Very few things I would change. A couple extra guylines would be nice. Reflective guylines would also be a plus. The tent body is highly breathable and great without the fly in good weather. The tent fly would benefit from a couple pop vents as found on some of their other models. Would prefer a more natural color but high visibility has its advantages too.
